January 2025: Drove out to Salt Lake City, Utah, where we will be living for the next three months.
December 2024: Visited Meera’s parents for New Year’s in Ruidoso, New Mexico.
December 2024: Visited my parents for Christmas in Port Royal, Virginia.
November 2024: Campsgiving at South Llano River State Park in Texas.
November 2024: Work trip to National Harbor, Maryland, during which I also visited my parents for a few days.
November 2024: Work trip to Dallas, during which we also attended the homecoming game at SMU.
October 2024: Work trip to Milan, Italy for the International Federation of Robotics General Assembly meeting.

Reading

I have a live list of books in progress as well as a (mostly) complete list of books I’ve read and micro-reviews of them.

Over the last two years, I’ve been trying to read more non-fiction. I’m a fantasy/sci-fi junkie who doesn’t mind re-reading the entire Dresden Files or Stormlight Archive series when a new book comes out, so finding high-quality non-fiction to read and then sitting down with it takes focus.

Favorite new fiction: Assassin’s Apprentice (I know I’m late to this series! Here’s my micro-review anyway.

Favorite new non-fiction: Cal Newport’s Slow Productivity (my micro-review).
